As a specialized library focusing on erosion control and sediment-related disasters, since its establishment in 1984, it has been intensively collecting, organizing, and storing materials related to erosion control, making them available for use.

Collection composition

The collection focuses on "erosion control" and also broadly holds materials related to sediment-related disasters such as landslides, collapses, debris flows, earthquakes, and volcanoes, as well as materials in related fields such as disaster prevention, civil engineering, rivers, erosion control, and forestry.

The classification is based on a unique method that divides the "erosion control" field into 22 categories and further subdivides them.
