Panel Exhibitions 1 through 12
From November 2021 to October 2023, a two-year series titled "Masao Akagi's Erosion Control Road Series" was held, featuring panel displays of the 12th installments of the series within the museum.
Masao Akagi was a man who dedicated his life to "erosion control" from the Meiji to Showa periods. Please take a look at this panel which clearly summarizes and explains Masao Akagi's aspirations and struggles.
The erosion control projects envisioned by Masao Akagi continue to be carried out in various locations today, in collaboration with local communities and in harmony with nature, to protect people's lives, livelihoods, and the land from sediment-related disasters.
